This One Time,

Shawn and Jessy and I mashed high school and almostadulthood together for a Lenox coffee date.

And then the high school part won over the adult part, so we got the
"Best Hot Chocolate" at Chocolate Springs,

and a pistachio macaron like the ones Erica and I got at
La Duree - not quite the same, but delishus.

Sugar and high school besties led to giggling (is there anything more obvious?), and giggling led to me wildly kicking the plate to the ground, into pieces.

Moral of the Story: real friends stick around ten years after high school; real friends help you hide the pieces of the plate in planters and run out of the cafe with you.

Never Too Old To Use Crayons

Name the States.

Sheets of paper as tablecloths are awesome.

Tuesdays

Ohhh, Tuesdays.
They've always got at least three treats for me.

One is a piano lesson.

Have I mentioned that I love my piano lesson?
I love my piano lesson.

Tonight, Janna and I played this as a duet.
We didn't have screaming fans, but I think I wore a grin that paralleled Janna's 4 year-old students' smiles.

Two is that Monday night baking leaves Tuesday delishusness.

(These, modified)

And three is that I exchange half of my baking project, for half of Janna's:

Janna made key lime, coconut cake that elicits a When-Harry-Met-Sally-diner-scene sort of response.
